All the Rock Revolution details YOU need to know!

We know that you, like us, are a bit depressed that we have to wait over 6 weeks until the beginning of NFL training camps. So it's either immerse ourselves in Danica Patrick hissy fit videos on YouTube or play a huge show at the Queen Mary with Unwritten Law, Zebrahead and like 400 more bands to pass the time. After much soul searching and heated deliberation, we chose the latter.

This Saturday you can be part of our well oiled pit crew as we take STAGE 3 (the big stage right in front of the boat - er, ship) right around 3:00. Tickets are only $20 ($32 from Ticketmaster) and yes, we've got 'em for you right now - call our Hotline right now @ (714) 595-4430 to reserve yours. The event opens at 11 am and there will be constant rocking AND rolling until midnight.

All the info you'll ever need is right here http://www.socalrockrevolution.com

We'll be filiming the whole event so come hang around us so you can get into our new video. There's even talk of some wacky after hours party that'll feature Carp splashing around nude in a kiddie pool for your enjoyment. Bring your goggles.

So holla at your homies and we'll hook you up like Jermaine Dupree. That's gotta be good, right

We've got a great show this weekend and oh yeah my car got totalled

It was just a few weeks ago, as I was sent spinning in my freshly mauled SUV across the median of a large intersection, the result of a crazed drunken Korean club kid (yeah, they actually make those) blazing through a red light at over 70 mph, when I started thinking - "Man, I can't wait to give our fans what they really want - a muy caliente Cinco De Mayo musical fiesta in Thousand Oaks!"
So after both my airbags deployed and I had stumbled from my smoking wreck to pee on the nearest lawn, I realized there would also be tons of neat carnival fun (including games, treats and more!) at the Canejo Valley Days festival that you and your loved ones will enjoy and hopefully remember forever.
And of course during my treatment in the emergency ward the next morning I couldn't help but sigh in relief that admission to the festival would be extremely reasonable and the new entertainment venue "The Hang" a great area for you to enjoy our sexy rock and roll musings in maximum comfort.
But it really wasn't until I starting hassling day and night with my insurance company that I fully realized how happy I'll be to see some of your wonderful faces in person dancing to your favorite jams. Because Lord knows, if it had been a crazed drunken German club kid who ran that light, I wouldn't be here today to tell my story.
Ernstlich, vielen Dank für alle Ihre freundlichen Gedanken und Liebe!

Drunk Driver tries to take out a CJ member BUT FAILS! (Post from April 15, 2007)

We'd like to thank all of you who came out last night to 14 Below in Santa Monica to show Conjob some love.

While we had a really great time; unfortunately the night took a sort of sobering turn on our way home last night.

Last night, our faithful leader....and drummer...and sometimes dance instructor...KB (Kevin), was hit by a drunk driver on his way home and was involved in a pretty serious car accident.

Little did we know while we were saying our good-bye's last night while giving each other high-fives and slaps on the ass that one of our members wouldn't make it home safely. (I'm sure KB now wishes he had been part of the Conjob Slumber Party at Vickie's last night!).

You should know KB is going to be ok. He is alive, conscious and still has his sense of humor, which unfortunately, is still not very funny! As I write this, KB is at the hospital being cared for and we are waiting for word to hear the extent of the damage done, which hopefully won't be more than a big bump on his even bigger head!

With that said, Conjob's scheduled show for tomorrow night (Saturday, 4/14/07) at Gallagher's in Huntington Beach is cancelled (Thrill Deluxe is still going to rock the house so it'll still be a great night, so still go and have a drink in KB's honor). We are hoping to be able to keep the rest of our gig schedule as is listed. We will keep you updated on that so be sure to keep checking in.

Today, we are thankful for 3 things:

1) KB IS ALIVE AND KICKIN'....even if he's a bit beat up, he's here with us and we couldn't be more grateful.

2) Our pretty Belinda (KB's regular carpool partner) was NOT in the car and is safe and sound and still as pretty as ever!

3) KB's beautiful new drum kit is safe and sound as well, even if his car is completely gone! (Which really, is a good thing...Carp can always use another sell!)

THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR SUPPORTING CONJOB. AND PLEASE STOP BY AND LEAVE A WARM & FUZZY "GET WELL SOON" MESSAGE FOR KB.....

Until then...
Everybody...BE COOL....
And please...don't drink and drive...

Sincerely,
Conjob

LIVE SHOTS FROM THE SEAL BEACH GALLERY OPENING!

Ever been to an awesome party with tons of cool rock & roll art, a wacky old dude doing interpretive locking and popping to every song in CONJOB's set and all you can pound energy drinks and vodka served by the lovely Daredevil girls? Oh ... you have? But c'mon, that last one totally sucked!

Well, thankfully for you, this one was way better and we have the pictures (snapped by the lovely Belinda Orozco) to prove it. Enjoy and stop telling everyone we've never done anything nice for you.

So here's Zha straight freaking. This is right before she did a backflip through that stucco wall behind her. Swear.

Sorry, Carp got in the way of this hot and steamy shot. It's like, "damn, fool - you best recognize!" But seriously, that's just a few bucks short of a million dollar smile. If music somehow doesn't work out, he'd have a great career in car sales.

So DJ had to be out of town and we were lucky enough to sucker Mr. Harlis Sweetwater from the one and only Thrill Deluxe into filling in. Unfortunately, he and Carp spent 45 minutes tuning up. Eventually the rest of us just smiled and started playing the bossa nova.

This, of course, is Kevin. Man, he's good. Seriously, look at those eyes. All that muscle under his shirt. Can't even imagine what he benches. Not many bad boys like him still love their mom AND abused puppies. Wow.

Here's lil Vick. She just got a new keyboard and now she never leaves the house. The men of Santa Monica don't know what hit them. They eat and drink but they don't .. LIVE anymore. Buy her an ice cream cone at the next show and she'll tell you all about the death of her car. It'll be the worst 20 minutes of your life.

Bux getting up your face. Dig it, cuz!

And with that, we wave goodbye. But before we go, are you sure you're done looking at the picture of our drummer Kevin? I mean really, can you only gaze upon the Statue of David just once? Didn't think so.

We can't announce much about this show now, but we will be performing live at the brand new entertainment venue, "The Hang", during the heart of the festival. Many more details to come ...
