CONJOB now sponsored by Daredevil Energy Drink

We're proud to officially introduce our new sponsor to the world and the dark, thirsty parts of the galaxy - Daredevil. We've tried it, love it, and have stayed up for the last 16 consecutive days since we started drinking it. Our stage show is starting to resemble something out of an old Three Stooges flick.

Seriously we couldn't be happier to be partnering with such a great new company and are looking forward to a bright and happy future together. Keep your eye out for us playing at upcoming Daredevil sponsored events, and be sure to check out their site.

Gotta run. We've got to finish a can and complete a triathalon before pratice.

Get your discount tickets to the Rock Revolution today!

We know how you've been suffering the past couple of weeks without your CONJOB - sleepless nights, long rambling poems to lost loves and a strong desire to lick firewood. But hope is on the horizon and we couldn't be happier to bring it to your broken heart and splintered tongue.

We'll be rocking the "Road to the Rock Revolution" Festival on Friday night, March 30th and taking very few prisoners. This event is going to be totally tits - a ton of bands, big colorful lights, chicks, booze, menthol cigarettes and vulgar language spoken by wayward adolescents. And that's only in the Jack in the Box drive thru before the show.

Right now we've got a limited number of discount tickets that will get you in for the entire event for only $10. The whole thing will go down at Khoury's in the Long Beach Marina, located at 110 Marina Drive, just over the bridge from Seal Beach. Show starts at 5:30 and we are headlining the event at 9 pm.

So hit up any CJ band member and get your tickets today - or you can call the CJ hotline @ (714) 595-4430 to reserve what you need. Remember to also visit our wonderfully wild website - http://www.conjobmusic.com/ - for all the latest and greatest show, video, music, and blog fun you can wag a Canadian flag at. It's all about those crazy Canucks, eh.

Your pals,

3/6/07 - MySpace Technical Difficulties

(From our Myspace Blog on 3/6/07)

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ!
You may think we're dissing you. Or that we're so broken up over the pending Randy Moss trade we've lost our ability to type and send emails. Contrary to MSNBC reports, neither of these are true.

What has happened is dickhead Tom and his inept team of Myspace assclowns has inexplicably taken away our ability to compose outgoing email. That means we can't respond to any 1) emails 2) friend requests 3) comments. And trust us, there is so much we want to say to everyone who takes the time to write something nice/cruel/indifferent about us.
What's worse is for the past 2 months we've sent maybe 100 angry emails to their tech support who only send us lame stock answers that tell us nothing. Seriously, no one will tell us why, how, or when we'll be allowed to correspond with you again. Did we mention Tom is a miniature rectal snot belch?

Fortunately (we guess) we are still able to post blogs, bulletins and new show info (many new and exciting dates will be posted soon!) so there are minimal ways we can communicate with you. And with the latest stock answers promising us our problems will be cured imminently, our only option is to blindly hope and dream.

So please, don't lose faith in us or question our current one sided friendship. We'll be back with you soon and we promise to be more loveable than ever.

Oh and Tom bites big green antelope dicks.

3/1/07 - We have the "Featured Video" on SONICBIDS.com & More!

(From our MySpace Blog on 3/1/07)

How could we lie about something so neat? Check it out for yourself - www.sonicbids.com.
You may have also noticed brand new pictures from our show at The Gig up now in our gallery. We were lucky enough to enlist the help of super photog Josh Huber for this session who is so underground cool we feel like chain smoking 70s hit men just standing next to him.

Let us also say that neither Diddy or Lebron could've put on the kind of star powered event as our boys Ghost did at the Get Down. Seriously, the slightly slutty Asian schoolgirl go-go dancers grinding on the luckiest bar this side of Beijing were only the tip of the iceberg. Love you guys.

We've also been spending the past 2 weeks locked in a small smelly room with Bob Burch working on kickass new material that we'll be unveiling at the Blue Cafe. And we'll soon be posting super secret behind-the-scenes photos that includes multiple shots of Zhanine yelling at everyone to "not look like freakin' idiots". What a sweetheart.

So we hope you enjoy some or all of our current internet exposure and leave us a message sometime. While the kind folks at Myspace still won't allow us to write you back yet, we'll sing something wonderful about you at our next campfire.

2/23/07 We're live at the Gig on Friday night - come be in our new video!

(From our Myspace Blog on 2/27/07)

It'll be the best Friday night in recent rock and roll history as our buds Ghost drop their new album and we're recording footage for our brand new video! Super duper porn pumps and edible candy chaps are highly recommended.

Get there early - Shotgun Radio hits the stage at 8 with Marcel "I love New York the Most" Saxlund doing some hilarious bits from his new off-Broadway one man comedy revue before their blockrocking set. Dig it.

So come immortalize yourself (or at least the back of your head) in CONJOB video lore and secure yourself a somewhat decent story to tell your jaded grandkids. C'mon, by then they'll be im-ing little purple monsters on Jupiter.

2/13/07 - Our NEW VIDEO for "Sugar Sweet" is up NOW!

(This is from our MySpace blog on 2/13/07 - can be seen on www.myspace.com/conjob or www.youtube.com/conjob)

You've danced to it, made sweaty monkey love to it and now you can watch it anytime you want from the comfort of your parent's living room - that's right, "Sugar Sweet" has hit the airwaves! Thanks to the prodigious Jen Creed and the good people at BODOG Music and Fuse TV, our first video from the new album has landed and is being broadcast right now!

You'll find that the best clips from our year ending show at Avalon have been precisely edited and you're gonna believe we're bigger and badder than Accept when you're done watching.

In other smokin' hot February news, be sure to make it out for our show at the Gig on the 23rd where we'll be filming another live video and we want the back of your head in as many shots as possible. We've also been working long, hard hours with the deceptively handsome Bob Burch on all kinds of new material that we'll be unveiling soon. He's an evil taskmaster but we can't resist his cool Hawaiian charm.

We've got new shows on the way and other fun announcements coming soon, so don't be a stranger and be sure and vote CONJOB at your nearest ballot box. We promise more positive reform than you can shake a large twig at.

2/7/07 - Mancub music review of "Everybody Be Cool"

(this post is from our Myspace Blog on 2/7/07)

Homies -
Our boy Keri (Ghost, Urban Family Dog) just decided to write a really nice review of "Everybody Be Cool" and post it on his website for the world to see. We're surprised - because Keri is a dope singer with a good reputation in this town - that he did this all on his own without taking any of the cash or "favors" we would've generously offered.

So check it out, memorize the good parts, brush the crumbs from the bag of Ruffles you just ate off your shirt and write one of your own. Seriously, we promise we'll either post it on our blog or at the very least read it out loud at practice and have a good laugh at your grammar.

1/16/07 - NEW websites, NEW song, NEW shows and some weird NEW abbreviations!

(This post is from our Myspace Blog on 1/17/06)

First off let's state the obvious - we've got a new myspace page. It utilizes all the same colors of our brand new album so we are now officially matching and professional. Thought you'd never live to see the day, huh? Mad props to the TWEED Studios boys again who've been with us for the last 5 months making the strange ideas in our heads look pretty cool in reality.

We are seriously stoked to finally announce that the overhaul to our main website - http://www.conjobmusic.com - is basically complete (we'll go with 95% at press time) and we welcome you to visit and stay awhile. We've got a bunch of photos in our gallery we know you haven't ever seen before, new bios, a huge fully interactive CJ marketplace, and a cute little tickertape that will announce all kind of unbelievable breaking news. Gotta give love to Joe Ader with Plasma Interactive and Marcel "Electric Bugaloo" Saxlund for both their design work and winning personalities.

Also, as you can see, we've added a new song from our album to our playlist. If you've ever been to a CJ show (and you're really not a good friend if you haven't) you know we almost always close with "Tangerine" and yes - we've seen you shaking your booty to it like the holy spirit was trying to get out. This song has been with us for sometime now and has been changed around a bit and gosh darn it, now we love it more than ever. Try turning down the volume on your favorite dirty movie and crank it - you will not be let down.

Show wise we have a private shindig coming up that we just can't invite you to (seriously, the guy who hired us will get bent), but we are getting ready to announce some new shows - one in OC, one in LA, and maybe even a few out of town - in the next week or so as we continue our year long promotion of Everybody Be Cool. Don't worry - you only have 10 more months to put up with this crap.

We're also going to be throwing up some random pictures here very soon of some behind the scenes fun that you thought you'd never be lucky enough to see, so come back soon. And yes, we will finally reveal a clear shot of the elusive Bob Birch so you can finally stop asking who the hell he is.
